How to Reach Yumthang Valley?
Reaching the Yumthang Valley can be a little difficult as there are no direct ways to get there. To go to the valley, one has to first reach Gangtok. An Official permission must be taken to go to the Valley. Since the valley is very close to the Indo-China border an official permission to visit is a must for everyone.
The nearest air port is Bagdogra, in West Bengal. Further, one can take prepaid taxis and buses that are available till Gangtok.
From Gangtok, you can take a bus or continue your cab journey.
